Meet Children’s Book Author, Ken Rohlf

Meet Ken Rohlf

Ken grew up in South St. Paul, Minnesota, attended the University of Minnesota, and graduated from the U of M Law School. He has practiced law for more than 30 years and currently serves as in-house General Counsel for a large corporation. He is also the father of two children and became a doting grandfather for the first time in 2024.

Ken started his journey into children’s picture books with the award-winning and best-selling title, Christmas Sun – A Beautiful Tradition to Remember Grandma to help keep the memory of his late wife alive for his new grandson.

In his second book, For You, I Hope, Ken imparts wishful words of wisdom and encouragement to his young grandson… and to all of its readers.

In his own words:

As a parent, grandparent or any adult who loves a child, when you think about all of the wonderful opportunities that lie before a young person you can’t help but close your eyes and dream about all the hopes you have for them. This book is dedicated to my grandchildren and all of the beautiful children of the world and the hopes we have for them all.”

Ken is already working on a third children’s book where he continues to share his vision of positive and loving support for all children.  A portion of the profits from all Ken's books will be donated to Sherri’s Books – an organization named after his wife that promotes children’s literacy.

Today Ken still lives in St. Louis Park, Minnesota, and enjoys gathering with family and friends, traveling, and spending time at the cabin.
